The Ceremony

Denton Hall itself unites history and romance in its own unique way

Offering you both choice and flexibility in arranging the perfect setting for your ceremony.

It is your stately home for the weekend – the hall is made exclusively available to you and your wedding party, offering the freedom and privacy you desire.

We are licensed to host, civil ceremonies, civil partnerships and the renewal of vows in one of our two traditional Georgian reception rooms.

The Carthorpe Room

Originally the drawing room with far-reaching views across the estate, it is situated on the ground floor and boasts a beautiful marble fireplace as its centrepiece.

Its tall Georgian windows flood this airy room with light, with historic paintings forming a striking centrepiece.

A popular choice for ceremonies, it provides accessible seating for up to 100 guests.

The Middleton Room

Middleton RoomFormerly the dining room, it is home to an exquisite and enduring example of an Adam-style ceiling and fireplace.

The renowned Adam style is 18th century neo-classical interior design at its finest, as practised by the three Adam brothers from Scotland who are credited with producing the world's first "international style".

With its eye-catching crystal chandelier and feature ceiling, it creates an enchanting ambience the moment you enter.

This room can also seat up to 100 guests.

St Helen's Church

St Helens ChurchAlso designed by the renowned architect, John Carr. St Helen's sits just outside the main gates of Denton Hall.

This picturesque village church is ideal for couples who are looking for a traditional church setting and service in intimate and tranquil surroundings.

Part of Weston and Denton parish, the church is Grade I listed and features a rare wealth of armorial detail and fine descriptions.
